What the website collects

If the waitlist form is enabled and you submit it, we collect your email address, the time of submission, and the version of the beta-notification disclosure and privacy notice you accepted. Joining the beta-notification list does not subscribe you to general marketing.

We also use first-party cookies containing a random visitor identifier and limited acquisition information: campaign parameters, experiment identifier, landing-page variant, an external referrer with its query string removed, and timestamps. The first-touch cookie lasts up to 180 days. We do not use device fingerprinting or hidden identity enrichment.

Context Tax Estimate

The calculator runs in your browser. Your choices, calculated hours, and monetary assumptions are not transmitted. We may record only that an anonymous visitor started or completed the calculator so we can understand whether the page is useful.

Why we use this information

We use the email address to deliver the promised free Mac beta link and essential release information. We use acquisition records to understand which experiments produce real beta interest and later activation. After signup, you may separately choose occasional product updates and context-workflow ideas; that permission is optional and recorded separately.

Service providers

Vercel hosts and protects the website, Neon stores waitlist and attribution records, and Resend delivers an internal signup alert and the later release email. Those providers may process your submitted email address and ordinary technical request information, including IP addresses and timestamps, for delivery, abuse prevention, and security logging.

Retention and deletion

Beta-notification records are retained until the earlier of a valid deletion request or 90 days after the final essential beta-release message. If you separately request ongoing build updates, your email and consent record remain until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Anonymous attribution events are retained for up to 12 months. Operational backups and security logs may persist for a limited additional period under provider policies.

To access or delete your waitlist information, withdraw optional marketing consent, or ask a privacy question, email bruceli@tesserasol.ai. We will not sell your waitlist information.

The future Mac beta

The product privacy description on the homepage is a release contract, not a statement that a downloadable build exists today. Product processing, optional session capture, marketing messages, and any future Tessera invitation remain separate permissions.
